PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box within which it is easily made possible to carry out the work of mounting a pedestal onto a display device which is packed therein with only the pedestal of a stand separated, the display device not required to be laid on a plane surface such as on the desk or the like. SOLUTION: The packing box at least has a first cushioning material fitted onto the upper part of the display device, and a second cushioning material fitted onto the lower part thereof while having a shape such that while under the second cushioning material being removed from the lower part of the display device, it is possible to touch only the screen frame section of the display device with the first cushioning material fitted onto the upper part thereof and to retain the display device inverted in an inclined manner with respect to the horizontal surface within the packing box.
