PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of an unlock mechanism by a structure in which a plurality of pallets arranged on shelf members can be pulled out/put in horizontally frontward/backward, a pallet at an optional position is pulled out/put in by a vertical movement of an elevator member, a movement of a moving member of a pulling out/putting in mechanism, and an engagement operation of an engagement member under control of a control part, lock mechanisms are provided between the pallets and the shelf members, and unlock mechanisms for unlocking the lock mechanisms in conjunction with the engagement operation are provided. SOLUTION: The automatic storage shelf device includes a plurality of pallets P arranged on the shelf members 2 to be pulled out/put in horizontally frontward/backward, an elevator member 4 provided on the pulling out/putting in side of the shelf frame member 1 movably in the vertical direction by an elevator mechanism 5, a pulling out/putting in mechanism 6 including a moving member 8 having an engagement member 7 engaging with the pallet and a movement mechanism 9 for moving the moving member in horizontally frontward/backward, and a control part 10 for controlling the elevator member and the pulling out/putting in mechanism.
