PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform maintenance of an auxiliary device provided on the nut end of a ball screw without removing the ball screw from a table, even when it is installed to the table, while minimizing the disassembling of a mechanism part related thereto as much as possible. SOLUTION: The ball screw 1 includes an engagement groove provided on the end surface bore of a nut 3. The auxiliary device 10 includes a connecting plate 20 and a fixing plate 30 having a mutual fastening part 70. The connecting plate 20 is insertable into the end of the nut 3, and has a locking part 23 to fitted to the engagement groove, the locking part having a gap 24 elastically deformable in its radial direction on an outer diameter part thereof. The fixing plate 30 has a shaft 80 which arrests the radial elastic displacement of the locking part 23 by being inserted to the gap 24 of the connecting plate 20 from the axial direction.
