PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel storage case that prevents an accommodated grinding wheel from being damaged. SOLUTION: The wheel accommodating case 12 includes a body 14 and a lid 28. The body 14 includes: a bottom 16 having a projection 18 that fits in an opening 5; a cylindrical wheel storing portion 22 that has height greater than that extending from the fixed end surface of the grinding wheel 2 to the grinding end surface of a whetstone 10 and that is defined by an external wall portion 20 extending upward from the bottom 16; and locking portions formed in the top of the external wall portion 20. The lid 28 includes: portions to be locked in the locking portions; a cylindrical projection 30 that is formed on the sealing surface for sealing the body 14 and fits on the internal circumference of the annular projection of the accommodated grinding wheel 2; and a ring-shaped projection that fits on the outside of the annular projection. After the grinding wheel 2 is accommodated in the cylindrical wheel storing portion 22, the portions to be locked are locked into the locking portions, thereby integrating the body 14 and lid 28.
