An electric motor provided with: a stator which is configured by integrally molding stationary members using an insulating resin, the stationary members including stator cores on which stator winding wires are wound; a rotor which is disposed about the shaft so as to face the stator; two bearings which rotatably support the shaft; brackets which affix the bearings; and a drive circuit board which causes an electric current to flow to the stator winding wires and on which a drive circuit for driving the rotor is mounted. The outer ring and the inner ring of either of the two bearings are electrically insulated from each other.
