PURPOSE: A discharging apparatus for a coke oven and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the cokes from remaining in a guide after completion of discharge. CONSTITUTION: A discharging apparatus for a coke oven comprises a ram(30), a guide(50), and an injector. The ram discharges dried cokes from a coke oven(10). The guide, in which the ram is inserted, is installed in an outlet of the coke oven. The injector, which delivers air to the space between the ram and the guide, comprises a supply tube(72) installed in the guide, an air pump which forces air to the air supply tube, and a controller which senses the operating state of the ram and drives the air pump after completion of the discharge operation. |
