摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an olivine type positive electrode active material, and a lithium secondary battery using thereof are provided to improve the reproducibility and the productivity of the positive electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an olivine type positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprises the following steps: producing a manganese phosphate marked with chemical formula 1: (Mn_(1-x)Fe_x)_3(PO_4)_2aH_2O, or manganese phosphate-iron hydrate using the coprecipitation; forming a plasticized precursor by press-molding a mixture containing the manganese phosphate or manganese phosphate-iron hydrate, a lithium compound, and a carbon material; and plasticizing the plasticized precursor.
