<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell, with power generation performance that can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell (100) is provided with a first cell (110) with a coolant flow channel (72) fitted at a cathode side; a second cell (120) laminated in adjacency to an anode side of the first cell with a coolant flow channel fitted at an anode side, without coolant channels provided between the first cell and the second cell and with a cathode gas outlet of the first cell; and a cathode gas inlet of the second cell connected with each other. With the fuel cell, cathode gas humidified by power generation of the first cell can be supplied to the second cell. In this case, the second cell is restrained from drying due to vapor in the cathode gas.
