METAL MOLD FOR MOLDING DISK, MIRROR SURFACE PLATE, AND DISK SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking of disks to each other and to widen a printing range.

SOLUTION: A metal mold for molding a disk includes a first metal mold and a second metal mold. A convex surface s11 curved from an inner peripheral side to an outer peripheral side is formed on a front end surface of a mirror surface plate of one metal mold of the first and second metal molds. Since the convex surface s11 is formed, one surface of a disk and the other surface of an adjacent disk are not brought into contact with each other and thereby sticking of disks can be prevented. Since data recorded in the disk are read by irradiation with a laser beam from a rear surface side, data can be reliably read by forming a concave surface in the surface on a non-information surface side.
