<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a recording data size of images without causing deterioration in image quality of reproduced images. <P>SOLUTION: By acquiring input images including M pixels by photographing and performing resampling by handling the input image as an image (300) to be resampled, a first reduced image (311) and a second reduced image (312) including M/4 pixels each are generated. The resampling is executed so that sampling positions deviate between the first and second reduced images. In photographing, image data of the first and second reduced images are recorded on an external memory instead of the input image. In reproduction, resolution of the reduced images is increased based on information on position deviation between the image data of the first and second reduced images read from the external memory and both the images, and an output image including resolution equivalent to that of the input image is generated and displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
