<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower of improved blasting efficiency by reducing separation flow generated at a terminal part of a return blade, and a vacuum cleaner. <P>SOLUTION: This blower includes: a bracket 2 involving an electric motor 1; an impeller 4 connected to the rotary shaft 3 of the electric motor 1; an air guide 5 having a plurality of stationary blades 10 disposed around the impeller 4 on the front surface and the plurality of return blades 12 guiding air current to the electric motor 1 on the back surface, and making tips of the return blades 12 abut on the bracket 2; and a fan case 6 covering the impeller 4 and the air guide 5, and having a suction port 7 at the center.
