PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently culturing microalgae according to growth histories and an apparatus for culturing microalgae. SOLUTION: The method includes culturing microalgae while controlling carbon dioxide concentration in an incubator with the passage of time. The apparatus for culturing microalgae includes an incubator for culturing microalgae and a mechanism for controlling the carbon dioxide concentration in the incubator with the passage of time.
