PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the smooth treatment of fatty tissue by preventing the occurrence of troubles while sufficiently discharging it and ensuring the separation of the treatment liquid from the fatty tissue. SOLUTION: A fatty tissue treatment device 1 includes a container 2 having an outlet 2a in its bottom, a valve V1 to open the outlet 2a, an air layer formation means 2a, 8 to form an air layer C between a fatty layer A and a liquid layer B arranged below the fatty layer A when fatty tissue and its treatment liquid are supplied to the container 2 and quietly placed there; a light transmission detector 5a, 5b to detect the light transmission near the outlet 2a, and a control part 7 to close a valve V1 based on the light transmission detected by the transmission detector 5a, 5b while the contents of the container 2 are discharged through the outlet 2a.
