PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for tearing off a protective film from a film body surface. SOLUTION: By a roller 132, an adhesive tape 20 bent in a V shape and imparting a drawable allowance, is pressed to a surface of a protective film 50 by a presser roller 10, and the adhesive tape 20 is stuck to the surface of the protective film 50 while gradually reducing the allowance. Afterwards, the allowance is eliminated, and while adding large size tension to an adhesive tape part 22 extending to the side edge 42 of a film body from the presser roller 10, the presser roller 10 is moved while rotating in the tearing-off direction of the protective film 50 while being pressed to a protective film 50 surface, the protective film 50 is torn off.
