The invention relates to a device (1, 24, 39) for fixing in position a first fuselage section with a second fuselage section (2, 3) in a transversal joining region (8). The first fuselage section (2) is planked with a first skin (4) and the second fuselage section (3) is planked with a second skin (5). According to the invention, the fuselage sections (2, 3) can be temporarily connected with at least one clamping element (17, 27, 42) in the transversal joining region (8) in order to carry out the joining process. The clamping elements (17,27,42) are each embodied with a holder (6, 25, 40) and a counter-holder (7, 26, 41). For example, the holders (6, 25, 40) are positioned on the outside on the second skin (5) and the counter-holders (7, 26, 41) are positioned on the opposite side, on the inside of the first skin (4), in the transversal joining region (8). Each holder (6, 25, 40) has at least one magnet (13-16, 31 -34) in order to temporarily fix the fuselage sections (2, 3) to each other by the magnetic force of attraction to the counter holder (7, 26, 41) and to prevent boring chips from penetrating during the joining process between the skins (4, 5) or a transversal joining plate. The holders (6, 25, 40) and/or the counter-holders (7, 26, 41) also have at least one holder guiding borehole (18-20, 35-37) or a counter-holder guiding borehole (21-23, 28-30) in order to simplify the creation of boreholes in the transversal joining region (8) which is as precise as possible. |
