PURPOSE: A blocking device for a conveyor belt is provided to prevent the environment contamination and the decrease of the product quality since a blocking member prevents viscous articles from running down. CONSTITUTION: A blocking device(1) for a conveyor belt comprises a guide member(20), a roller member(30) and a blocking member(40). The guide member is separately installed on the lower part of the conveyor belt. The roller member is mounted on the guide member and is guided by the guide member. The blocking member is connected to the roller member. The blocking member blocks articles, which run down along the conveyor belt. The guide member is installed on both sides of the conveyor belt. The guide member comprises an elongated hole, which guides the roller member.
