<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation device, improved in the reliability by allowing failure determination of a power measuring means. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation device 103 includes: a utility interactive inverter 105 which adjusts the output power of the power generation device 103; an auxiliary machine 117 which operates a fuel cell 104; the power measuring means 109 which measures an output power of the power generation device 103 or a receiving power from a power system 101; a power change measurement means 113 which measures change in the power measured by the measuring means 109 between before the output power of the device 103 is forcibly stopped or changed by the utility interactive inverter 105 and while it is forcibly stopped or changed; and a failure determination means 114 which determines, when the change in power measured by the power change measurement means 113 is within a predetermined range, a failure of the power measuring means 109.
