<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated cBN sintered body having close adhesion property of a cBN sintered body and a coating film and extending a tool life when it is used as a cutting tool. <P>SOLUTION: The coated cBN sintered body comprises: a cBN sintered body substrate and the coating film coated on the surface; and the coating film comprises: an innermost layer covered on the surface of the cBN sintered body substrate; and an outer layer covered on a surface of the innermost layer. The innermost layer comprises at least one of: borides of Ti, Al, Cr and Zr; boro-nitrides; and mutual solid solution elements of these, and the outer layer comprises at least one of: 4a, 5a, 6a group elements in a periodic table; carbides, nitrides, oxides, borides, and sulfides of Al and Si, and mutual solid solutions of these. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
