<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle recognition device for recognizing an obstacle more accurately by improving the precision of combining sensor information acquired from sensor information from an in-vehicle camera and a millimeter wave radar. <P>SOLUTION: The obstacle recognition device for recognizing the obstacle by combining a plurality of pieces of sensor information includes: a front camera 201 for acquiring first parameter information on the obstacle; a millimeter wave radar 202 for acquiring second parameter information on the obstacle; a correction section 203a for calculating the amount of the axial deviation of an azimuth angle of the front camera 201 or the millimeter wave radar 202 based on the first parameter information acquired by the front camera 201 and the second parameter information acquired by the millimeter wave radar 202, and correcting the axial deviation of the front camera 201 or the millimeter wave radar 202 based on the calculated amount of axial deviation; and a storage section 203c for storing the amount of axial deviation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
