<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically remove foreign matters sticking to an orifice. <P>SOLUTION: The drain trap includes a casing constituted of a body 3 and a cover body 4, in which an inlet 1, a valve chest 6, and an outlet 2 are formed, and a valve seat 9, in which a first valve port 7 and a second valve port 8 communicating the valve chest 6 and outlet 2 mutually are opened, is formed in the lower part of the valve chest 6. A lever 11 turning around a rocking shaft 10 supported within the valve chest 6 is arranged, and a float 12 moving up/down according to a liquid level inside the valve chest 6 is connected to the lever 11, and a valve element 15 seated to or separated from the valve seat 9 to open or close the first valve port 7 and the second valve port 8 is connected to the lever 11. The orifice 22, which is formed to have an opening area by which drain occurring in air feeding in a piping system cannot be discharged completely and communicates the valve chest 6 and the outlet 2 with each other, is formed in the lower part of the valve chest 6 separately from the first valve port 7 and the second valve port 8. A foreign matter elimination member 24, which advances into the orifice 22 to remove foreign matters sticking to the orifice 22 when the valve element 15 is separated from the valve seat 9 via the lever 11 according to surfacing of the float 12, is connected to the lever 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
