PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer including a cutter which smoothly cuts a printing medium from whichever of right and left ends and prevents disturbance of a cutting surface. SOLUTION: The printer includes printing conveying means 4 and 7 which print to a continuous printing medium 5 and convey to an outlet opening 1, and the cutter 2 with sawtooth shape projections arranged along a traverse direction of the continuous printing medium 5 at the outlet opening 1. The cutter 2 includes end parts 10 and a center part 11. Tips of the projections are even with a parallel position to a plane of the printing medium 5.
