PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal press-in device which can seal a clearance between an output shaft and a casing in a differential gear of various types of vehicles. SOLUTION: The oil seal press-in device includes a pair of positioning jigs 5a and 5b which press the differential gear in the direction of width of a vehicle to determine the position of the differential gear in the direction of width of the vehicle and have positioning fittings 16a and 16b to which an oil seal pressed-in to the differential gear is externally fitted to guide the oil seal to a part between the output shaft of the differential gear and the casing, a pair of press-in jigs 6a and 6b for pressing-in the oil seal to the differential gear positioned by the positioning jigs, a pair of first moving means 4a and 4b for moving the positioning jigs to the differential gear in the direction of width of the vehicle and pressing the differential gear by the positioning jigs to hold a positioning state for positioning the differential gear to the pressing-in operating position of the oil seal and a pair of second moving means 3a and 3b for moving the press-in jigs to the differential gear in the direction of width of the vehicle.
