PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay drive circuit capable of reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: The relay drive circuit has a relay element having an exiting coil and a contact part conducted by an effect that the exiting coil is exited, a constant voltage supply circuit connected to a power supply and one end of the exiting coil, a first switching element connected to the other end of the exiting coil, a second switching element 5 connected to the constant voltage supply circuit, a control part which is connected to the first switching element and the second switching element and outputs a first drive signal to bring the first switching element into an on-state and a second drive signal to bring the second switching element into the on-state. The relay device is characterized by having a delay part in order to output the second drive signal after a prescribed time elapses after the control part outputs the first drive signal.
