<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-source device capable of suppressing generation of a current overshoot on a current supplied to a light source without constituting a dummy circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The light-source device 10 includes: a plurality of LEDs 1 arranged in an annular shape and disposed with its optical axis directed to the inside of a circular ring in its radial direction; a constant current source with the plurality of LEDs 1 connected in parallel; a light-guiding member 11 having an incident surface 9 to enter light radiated from the LED 1, the incident surface being disposed at the outside of the circular ring in its radial direction, to emit the radiated light incoming to the incident surface 9 in the direction along the central-axis line 0 of the circular ring; a motor 2 to rotate the light-guiding member 11 around the central-axis line 0; and a controller to make the LED 1a in a position opposite to the incident surface 9 sequentially emit light in a pulsation mode, and at the same time to make another LED 1a' in the position out of the opposite incident surface 9 emit light, during the period of time when the LED 1a disposed opposite to the incident surface 9 is not lit while the incident surface 9 is oppositely located. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
