<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel consumption calculation system for notifying a user of each vehicle of the sequence of total fuel consumption or total exhaust gas amounts among a plurality of vehicles without requiring to perform any troublesome input. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel consumption calculation system including an onboard unit, a portable terminal which communicate with the onboard unit and an external server which communicate with the portable terminal, a portable unit calculates total fuel consumption or total exhaust gas amounts in a prescribed traveling section on the basis of various pieces of information obtained from the onboard unit and various pieces of information derived by the portable unit itself, the external server receives the calculation result obtained from the portable unit, and the external server determines the sequence of the total fuel consumption or the total exhaust gas amounts on the basis of the total fuel consumption or total exhaust gas amounts obtained about the plurality of vehicles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
