<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar simulator for correctly measuring a light amount concerning the light to be radiated to a surface to be irradiated and preventing the loss of light to be radiated to the surface to be irradiated. <P>SOLUTION: The solar simulator (1) includes: a lamp (3) for emitting artificial solar light; and an optical system (7) for guiding the artificial solar light to the surface (5) to be irradiated. The optical system includes a reflection board (15) for reflecting the artificial solar light toward the surface (5) to be irradiated. The reflection board has a lighting window (17) arranged in the reflection board. The lighting window permits the passage of the partial light to be made incident to the reflection board (15).
