PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap mounting structure preventing the lift of a cap even if fastened using one screw and attaining reductions in machining and construction costs and simplification of working time and labor. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the cap fixed by screwing the screw into an insertion part of the cap inserted in the end of a hollow part of a gate post or the like is constituted such that a portion, into which the screw is screwed, of the insertion part of the cap is formed to be deformable in an outward direction by a pull-in force generated when screwing the screw.
