PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the protection of a hole wall concurrently with the excavation of a pile hole for a cast-in-place pile. SOLUTION: A plurality of cylindrical pipes (14), which are smaller in diameter than the pile hole and the lengths of which are smaller in dimension than or equal in dimension to the depth of an excavated section, are connected together and dropped in along the hole wall (15), concurrently with the operation of excavating the pile hole for the cast-in-place pile; and the hole wall and the cylindrical pipes are firmly attached to one another by filling a gap between the hole wall and the cylindrical pipes with a filler (16).
