PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MESOPOROUS MATRICES CONTAINING METAL NANOPARTICLES

There is described a sol-gel process for the production of films constituted by a mesoporous matrix containing metal nanoparticles of stable form and with a high degree of size control, which consists in the deposition on a substrate of a solution containing precursors of the matrix and of the nanoparticles and irradiation of the film or parts thereof with X-rays.
