The present invention relates to a method of the reduction of mycotoxin contamination of plants and/or plant material and/or plant propagation material comprising applying to the plant or plant propagation material a effective amount of a compound of formula (I) or a salt of N-oxide thereof. In addition, the present invention also relates to a composition comprising a compound of formula (I) and their use in methods for the reduction of mycotoxin contamination in plants.
