<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of solving a problem that the accuracy of predicted current ide(n+2) and idq(n+2) by model prediction control is low. <P>SOLUTION: In the step S10, an electric angle θ, and actual currents id, iq are detected and a voltage vector V(n) is output. Subsequently, in the step S12, prediction currents ide(n+1), iqe(n+1) of one control period Tc forward are calculated on the basis of the voltage vector V(n). In the step S18, prediction currents ide(n+2), iqe(n+2) caused by setting the voltage vector V(n+1) of one control period Tc forward are calculated by using the prediction currents ide (n+1), iqe(n+1) as initial values.
