<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active headrest capable of preventing interference of a rod with a stay while preventing fall of the rod hooked to an arm. <P>SOLUTION: The rod 36 inserted into the stay 22 is knocked up while the active headrest 3 is hooked to a hooking hole 74a formed in an arm 70 by the impact when a rear-end collision occurs in a vehicle, and a part capable of receiving a rear head of an occupant by the turn of the arm 70 associated with the knock-up is kept in a jetting-out manner toward the rear head side of the occupant. The hooking hole 74a is formed to be fitted to the rod 36. The rod 36 is inserted in the stay 22 with its movement being regulated so that the rod 36 is not interfered with the stay 22 even when the rod is moved in the horizontal direction as the arm 70 is turned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
