<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively restoring or preventing color fading of laver at a low cost by using an easily producible treating liquid. <P>SOLUTION: Laver is soaked in seawater loaded with a mixture of a substance containing iron oxide and/or metallic iron and an organic acid, or seawater loaded with the substance containing iron oxide and/or metallic iron and the organic acid. Alternatively, seawater loaded with the organic acid is adhered to laver and then the laver is soaked in seawater loaded with the substance containing iron oxide and/or metallic iron. Thus, the color fading of the laver can effectively be restored or prevented. Since the treatment can be carried out merely by using a treating agent comprising a combination of the substance containing iron oxide and/or metallic iron with the organic acid, it takes little labor and can be performed at a low cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
