<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency power supply unit of an elevator capable of preventing unnecessary discharging of an emergency battery when a power failure state, in which a power supply from a main power source is shut off, continues for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: This emergency power supply unit of an elevator includes a plurality of backup equipment 11-14 which need to be actuated in power failure, a battery 7 electrically connected to all of the backup equipment 11-14 and supplying power to all of the backup equipments 11-14 in power failure, a timer 17 for measuring lapse of a predetermined time after the power failure is detected, and a shut-off circuit installed between the battery 7 and all of the backup equipment 11-14, and completely disconnecting the battery 7 from all of the backup equipment 11-14 when the timer 17 measures the elapse of a predetermined time after the power failure is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
