<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in an optical scanner which covers, with a cover, a light deflector having a rotary polygon mirror, the inner surface of the cover being coated with an adhesive to make the dust in the inner part of the cover adhere to the adhesive, the dust once adhered to the adhesive is separated due to an air flow generated by the high-speed rotation of the rotary polygon mirror. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical scanner, an aperture part is formed at a spot at which an air flow generated by the rotation of the rotary polygon mirror contacts the cover, and an adhesive surface-having sheet is pasted from the outside of the cover so that the adhesive surface of the sheet may face the inner part of the cover, and consequently the aperture part is closed to form a dust-drifting part. By this, dust collecting effect is heightened, and the dust once adhered to the adhesive surface is difficult to peel off again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
