<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which does not cause a difference in an image according to a combination of a read speed of a scanner and a digital resolution variable power when the same variable power rate is attained, in an image forming device which has the scanner having a plurality of read speeds, and can perform digital resolution conversion of image data obtained at the plurality of read speeds. <P>SOLUTION: When the read speed of the scanner differs from a general state with respect to settings (an initial phase and a variable power rate (incremental value)) decided previously in digital image variable power processing, a value of the initial phase in a sub-scan direction is multiplied by a value in inverse proportion to a change of the read speed of the scanner to perform the digital variable power processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
