<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a safety state of a signal path to be used for monitoring the safety state without interrupting it. <P>SOLUTION: A safety monitoring input device 13 includes a timer which resets a clocked value on the basis of rising and falling of a pulse string signal S transmitted from a pulse string signal generation device 17, and outputs a gate signal until the clocked value is timed up and a gate circuit which outputs a signal indicating the safety state of a route through which the pulse string signal is transmitted on the basis of the gate signal, and the safety state of the signal route which is turned on/off by an emergency stop button 16 is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
