PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comprehensively screen food-borne pathogens quickly, simply and inexpensively. SOLUTION: The examination method for food-borne pathogens includes dividedly injecting a group of a primer pair for amplifying a DNA fragment for prescribed detection in each of a plurality of kinds of food-borne pathogens, which is a group of a primer pair designed to have mutually different Tm values of DNA fragment for detection and a fluorescent intercalator to each hole of a plate or tube set, adding the DNA fragment for detection to one hole one at a time for number of kinds, adding a template DNA extracted from a fecal liquid of a subject to a residual hole in a manner to add the DNA to one hole for each of the number of persons, amplifying the DNA by a real-time PCR, carrying out a melting curve analysis and screening recognition of retention of any food-poisoning bacterium in an amount more than a fixed amount in a subject.
