PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user's convenience by reflecting the information input from a user terminal such as a PC to a car navigation device. SOLUTION: A user terminal 101 sends positional information to be registered in a car navigation device 102 and a keyword relating to the positional information to a home gateway 201. The home gateway 201 includes a conversion means that converts the positional information received from the user terminal 101 to positional information for the car navigation device, and a notification means that notifies the car navigation device 102 of the converted positional information and the corresponding keyword. The car navigation device 102 includes a map information updating means that specifies a position indicated by the notified converted positional information on the map information and displays the notified keyword at the specified position.
