PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging stand capable of charging efficiently by suppressing the amount of generated carbon dioxide. SOLUTION: The charging stand includes a plurality of chargers 2 connected to an electric vehicle 1, a storage battery 3 which stores electric power supplied to the charger 2, and a new energy utilization generator 4 and a commercial power supply receiving part 5 for acquiring the electric power to be charged to the storage battery 3 and to be supplied to the charger 2. The commercial power supply receiving part 5 receives a low-cost nighttime power in the night, and charges the storage battery 3 with it through a charging device 6. A new energy utilization generator 4 such as a photovoltaic generator generates electric power, and charges it to a battery of the electric vehicle 1, along with the electric power accumulated in the storage battery 3, through the charger 2.
