PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser driving circuit capable of suitably reducing deterioration in optical output waveform even if environmental temperature or a modulation current of a laser element changes. SOLUTION: The laser driving circuit which generates the modulation current for driving a laser diode 2 by switching transistors 3, 4 based upon a differential pulse signal includes a control unit 8 which previously stores data wherein at least one of the environmental temperature, the modulation current, and a cumulative operation time of the laser diode 2 is associated with capacity values of variable capacitance elements 9c, 9d for setting switching times of the transistors 3, 4, and controls the switching times of the transistors 3, 4 by setting capacity values of the variable capacitance elements 9c, 9d corresponding to a measured value of at least one of the environmental temperature, modulation current, and cumulative operation time of the laser diode 2 by reference to the stored data based upon the measured value.
