PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption during image forming processing, when forming an image on a recording medium. SOLUTION: When a plurality of pieces of information directing image formation are received by a communication unit during the image forming processing, based on the recording medium type information contained in the respective pieces of information directing the image formation, a control unit performs a comparison (S3a) between each of fixation temperatures extracted from a storage part and a fixation temperature during the image forming processing, so as to perform image forming processing of information directing the image formation, having the smallest difference in terms of the fixation temperatures, after the image forming processing during processing is finished (S5a).
