PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood which does not require an exclusive attaching member and also prevents a shadow from being cast on a part of a photographic image, and an imaging apparatus system. SOLUTION: The hood (100) includes a hood body (110) attached to a lens barrel (3) of an imaging apparatus (2), and a passage means (30) provided in the hood body (110) and allowing light from the imaging apparatus (2) side to pass.
