PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition timing control device for an internal combustion engine, suppressing an insufficient or excessive output torque-down caused by execution or nonexecution of EGR upon achieving an output torque-down request of the internal combustion engine by delaying an ignition timing. SOLUTION: By calculating a torque coefficient TK using a command-value-calculation-map prepared according to each of execution and nonexecution of EGR, the torque coefficient TK can be made an appropriate value according to the execution or nonexecution of EGR as a torque-down command value for performing output torque-down of the engine 1. Specifically, when EGR is not executed, the torque coefficient TK can be made to be an appropriate value on performing the output torque-down as requested in the state of EGR not being executed. Further, when EGR is executed, the torque coefficient TK can be made an appropriate value on performing the output torque-down as requested in the state of EGR being executed.
