PURPOSE: A control information reception method in a wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to efficiently receive control information for component carrier waves from a base station using a carrier wave collecting method. CONSTITUTION: A control area is received from a base station(1300) through more than one component carrier waves among a plurality of component carrier waves. The control information assigned to the terminal is obtained by implementing blind decoding for a control area. The control area comprises control information for one or more component carrier waves or remaining component carrier waves.
