The pencil (1) has a housing (2), and a moving device (11) for a cosmetic product (9), where the moving device includes a continuous-band (17) with a casing wall, and externally projecting structures (19). An operating-band section (22) is accessible from outside by a housing window. An interference-band section (20) cooperates with counter structures (21) of a connecting rod that is shiftable in the housing, where the rod is in thrust connection with the cosmetic product. The projecting structures are formed by tooth structures that run transverse to a band extension.
