<p>Provided is a receiver in which a problem that, when a reinforcing plate for a housing is used as an antenna, a desired antenna gain does not have a tendency to be given, and the antenna gain can be reduced is solved. The receiver for information transmitted by radio waves comprises an output section for outputting information that can be recognized by a human being or another receiver, a stand section which is in contact with the output section so as to maintain the output section at an angle suitable for reception or viewing relative to a mounting surface, a reinforcing section which is in contact with the output section and the stand section at a different part from the contact point between the output section and the stand section so as to reinforce the maintaining of the angle, and an antenna section which is arranged in a space ensured by at least the reinforcing section so as to receive radio waves.</p> |
