DEFROST HEATER USING SURFACE HEATING ELEMENTS OF STRIPE TYPE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING USING THE SAME, AND DEFROST APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A defrosting heater using a sheet heater of a strip type, a manufacturing method thereof and a defrosting device are provided to enable slim heater assembly to be manufactured since a plurality of sheet heaters are connected in serial and/or in parallel using a pair of heater assembling PCB(Printed Circuit Board)s. CONSTITUTION: A defrosting heater comprises heater assembly(20), a heat transfer substrate, and an insulating layer. The heater assembly comprises first and second heater assembling PCBs(22,24) and a plurality of strip type sheet heaters(21). The first and second heater assembling PCBs include a plurality of first and second conductive connecting pads, which are arranged at a given interval. The sheet heaters are formed in a strip shape of a metal film and both ends of the sheet heater are connected between a plurality of first conductive connecting pads of the first heater assembling PCBs and a plurality of second conductivity connecting pads of the second heater assembling PCB. The heat transfer substrate is tightly fixed to one side of an evaporator, receives the heat emitted from the sheet heaters and transfers it to the evaporator. The insulating layer seals the exposed part of the heater assemby.
