PURPOSE: An electric range is provided to maximize heating efficiency by emitting heat energy generated in a heating coil and to protect the heating coil from foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: An electric range comprises one or more heating units(4). Heating coils(2) are wound around the ring-shaped cores(3) of the heating units. Protection plates(5), made of reflective materials, are formed on the top of the heating units in a ring shape. A support plate(6) are is in the bottom of the heating units in a bowl shape. The heating coils of the heating units are protected from food.
