DOOR LOCK SETTING SYSTEM USING USIM CARD AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system and a method for setting a door-lock is provided to improve the security by authenticating a universal subscriber identity module(USIM) card for a mobile terminal with the door-lock using intrinsic card identifying information. CONSTITUTION: A USIM card(100) generates a pair of private key and public key and transmits the public key to a door-lock(300). The intrinsic card identifying information of the USIM card and the private key are saved. The USIM card is mounted in a mobile terminal(200), a door-lock applet is downloaded. The door-lock applet encodes the card identifying information using the private key and transmits the encoded information to the door-lock .
